Energy work up front, built on more than 30 years of remodeling. Each page below explains what the job involves and what we need from you.
We check the roof first. Our licensed solar partner sizes the system from a year of your SCE or LADWP bills, installs it, and handles the permits and the utility interconnection. A battery keeps daytime power for the evening and can back up the circuits you choose in an outage.
Attic, wall and crawlspace insulation, air sealing, dual-pane low-E windows and sliders, cool roofs and duct sealing. This is the work that keeps Valley heat out of the house.
Heat pump heating and cooling, heat pump water heaters, induction cooktops, electrical panel upgrades and Level 2 EV chargers, planned so the walls open once. Licensed HVAC and electrical partners install the heat pumps, panels and chargers.
Kitchen and bath remodels with cabinets built in our Clybourn St shop, plus induction cooking, efficient lighting and water-saving fixtures. For a bathroom, you see a 3D rendering before work starts.
ADUs, garage conversions, room additions and custom homes. California's Title 24 energy code is one of the strictest in the country, and our new construction is built to it.

Most people call about one thing, like a hot upstairs bedroom or an old roof. At the home visit we look at the whole house and tell you what order makes sense, so nothing gets done twice.
Then you get a written proposal with a price for each item, showing what to do first and what can wait.
