We walk the house with you and take measurements. For energy work we also look at the panel, attic, roof and windows, so have a year of SCE or LADWP bills handy if you can.
Written proposal
You get a written proposal: what to do first, what can wait, and a price for each. For bathroom remodels, you see a 3D rendering before work starts.
